It is during these times that I like to stroll through woodlands, to find beautiful locations where I can take photographs for forest prints and tree wall art. On a refreshing spring day I was walking through the vast forests of the Veluwe in the Netherlands. I observed how the rays from the sun found their way through the thick canopy, creating an almost dreamlike picture. Even though I live in the mountains of America now, with my family, and we enjoy the wilderness of the Rocky Mountains, I still miss the unique beauty of the forests in Europe. In the woods of Europe otherwise mondain trees can suddenly become awe-inspiring works of art, thanks to the moody light conditions.
